Jedi Mind Trick: I am not a Marxist!

   102808_nuobamaonobama th_Mindtrick Do you remember in the old Star Wars series how in the middle of a jam Obi-Wan would just wave his hand and use a Jedi mind trick to get his way with his simpleminded adversaries? The Jedi mind trick was one of the most powerful tools at the disposal of any Jedi and it saved Obi-Wan,Luke and their companion’s bacon on more than one occasion. In the real world we have never seen such a phenomenon...that is until now. It seems that with the help of the mainstream media Barrack Obama has the ability to portray himself in any way he wishes, regardless of what the truth is. If he doesn't like the situation he is in or recognizes that the facts being presented are damaging to him he just simply raises his hand and the truth seems to fade away.

     Senator Obama has a history of associating with radicals, most of which are big proponents of Marxism or even anarchist beliefs and yet when he is called a socialist or a Marxist he and his surrogates become indignant, deny the truth and the media seems to bury the issues underneath the proverbial rug. Senator Obama has even written in one of his books that he intentionally spent time with Marxists and radicals so he would not ever appear to be a sell out and yet no one has asked him directly if he believes Marxism is a valid or preferable ideology. How these facts escape the media is astonishing and can only be attributed to either supernatural ability or a staggering media bias. Obama spoke about the necessity of "redistributing wealth" in a 2001 radio interview and told Joe the Plumber in Ohio that he wanted to "spread the wealth around" for the good of all Americans, and yet when he is accused of being a socialist or Marxist the response of the media and his surrogates is to deny, obfuscate, and demonize those who suggest such things. So the net result is that many Americans have no idea why conservatives are calling Obama a socialist, if they only knew.

     Recently the LA Times made the news by refusing to release a tape that they possess which has Bill Ayers, Barrack Obama, and Rasheed Kalidi all speaking at the same dinner event. The question is why? Why would the LA times withhold newsworthy information seven days before a presidential election? The answer: to protect "the one," their candidate from the fall out that such a tape filled with hateful, radical, anti-Semitic speech and vitriol would most certainly bring upon Obama and his campaign. The LA Times is protecting him and once again he is able to misrepresent himself to the public in order to preserve his public image. The old Jedi Mind trick again! But there is a problem with this approach, sometimes it doesn't work, there are some people who are immune to the power of a Jedi (or in Obama's case a Sith Lord) and his powers of mind control. In other words sooner or later the real Obama will surface and their will be no hiding it. It is just a matter of time before Obama's radical socialist-Marxist views are visible for the whole world to see. Hopefully enough of the American public is immune to the power of the Sith Lord to avert his being elected to the presidency.....we will know for sure in six days.

     Of course this is all tongue and cheek but the reality is that Obama is a socialist and believes in certain Marxist principles. America deserves a president who is transparent about his beliefs and his real agenda and to this point Obama has fallen woefully short of meeting this mark. Why does he hide his real beliefs? Because he knows that these views are far too radical for mainstream Americans who believe in a free market, free enterprise system called capitalism. He also knows that the only way to accomplish his agenda is to get into power and begin to systematically change the way that America is structured and operates. His deception is alarming and should be a red flag to any American who is considering electing the one term Senator to the highest office in the land. Who knows what else will come out about Obama in the next six days, but whatever it is I hope that the public wises up and refuses to fall for the Jedi mind tricks of the Sith Lord, or may God have mercy on us all!

You not open to changing your mind about Obama because you are an idealogue. You must have missed John McCain on Meet the Press last weekend where he explained his vote for socialism (that would be the bailout vote) because it was an 'emergency'. John McCain also wants the government...your tax dollars...to buy the mortgages of people who were reckless and foolish when they bought homes. What part of that idea is not socialist?
Colin Powell had a very reasoned explanation two weeks ago that makes sense: Taxes are always no matter how you see them a redistribution of wealth. But if you want the roads, support systems and things in this country the government provides that could allow people to be successful then taxes are a necessary evil. Now I don't like paying taxes. Nobody does. But after our President Bush has run up $10 trillion in deficit and now that the Chinese are funding things like social security in this country taxes are going to have to go up to pay off for the disaster that the Republican party created. I say this as a former Republican who voted for Bush's father. Now I know I won't change your mind because nothing in this post points to a reasoned argument. But get ready for a President Obama because John McCain and his campaign has been pathetic...

@Leonidas - Steve,

My blog was fun and makes a valid point I wish you would at least acknowledge that. Sure I am a very conservative Republican and have been very upfront about that. But I will tell you if Obama wasn't such a radical lefty I would give him a look. McCain is a conservative Democrat and I did not vote for him during the primary. Yes he endorsed the bailot and a measure to buy bad mortgages but the difference is that he wants to give a hand up not a handout. And McCain can be trusted to get the government out of the private sector while Obama can be counted on to radically socialize our country. You see Republicans aren't anti-government we just want to stop its growth......we are not Libertarians. I thought you'd get a kick out of the Jedi Mind trick thing but I guess you are too much of an idealogue yourself.

I think your Jedi mind trick is a great way of illustrating Obama's powers. I have often referred to him as an illusionist and a sorcerer. I| hope we find out who he is before it's too late.
